Resort / Activity owner
These services are provided by many operators and accommodation owners around Mozambique, whose product we vet by their ability to fulfill the services booked by Scuba Mozambique.
Again we do our best to ensure that all the holidays abide by the policies that these operators and accommodation owners claim to follow, but we are not able to guarantee they do at all times. If we are alerted to bad practice by any of our holiday providers we will immediately investigate the matter and take appropriate action in advising them to correct these or removing them from the site.
Information on the site
We also rely on information about their product as supplied by them to use on the site. We're not able to assume responsibility for this information and we have to disclaim all liability in respect of such information.
Scuba Mozambique is not liable for any injury and/or damage to persons or property caused by any actual or alleged libelous statements, infringements of intellectual property or privacy rights, or product liability, whether resulting from negligence or otherwise, including without limitation, from any use or operation of any ideas, instructions, procedures, products or methods contained in the material published on the site.
Recommendations
All recommendations by Scuba Mozambique regarding trips, properties and/or destinations are intended for the purpose of information and guidance only. All clients are advised to read the travel tips on our website. It is the clients responsibility to verify this information with a Mozambican Consulate before following it.
Bookings & Prices
Shark Alley / Scuba Mozambique acts as a booking agent for the resort / activity that you are booking with. Rates charged by Shark Alley / Scuba Mozambique are not necessarily the same as the resort / activities rates itself. Shark Alley / Scuba Mozambique does not charge separate service fees as if needed these may be worked into the total price quoted. Should the client wish to be made aware of the specific service fee that has been worked into the rates they must request this upon first or second communication with Scuba Mozambique whether by phone, email or fax. Should this not be done no such details will be made available. Quoted Amount will be influenced by supplier’s rate changes until full payment has been received. Although all precautions have been taken to secure the quoted amount Shark Alley cannot control rates e.g. airport taxes. Shark Alley and Scuba Mozambique reserves the right to offer services as per quotation at their discretion without being legally bound to any rates from any and all of our service providers.
Cancellation Policy:
Should a cancellation be received 90 days prior to arrival, you will forfeit 70% of the monies paid to date. Should a cancellation be received less than 90 days prior to arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the monies paid to date. Should we be able to re-sell the stand / room / chalet/activities, the cancellation fee will be waived, however a 25% handling fee will be charged.
Upon booking - Indemnity Release
I certify that I am fully aware of the basic risk and dangers and the implications thereof.
I hereby understand and agree that Scuba Mozambique and the Members will not be liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with the abovementioned activities, subcontracted to tour operators and guides and any persons involved, which may result in my injury, death, financial loss or any damage suffered by me or my family, heirs or assigns. I hereby personally assume all risks in connection with my stay at the abovementioned activities and for any harm, injury or damage which may befall me while I am resident or participating in flights, activities and accommodation as mentioned on my quote, number xxxx.
including all risks connected therewith, whether civil or criminal by me or my family, estate, heirs or assigns arising out of my participation in the abovementioned activities or with my stay at all the set out activities and accommodation on my quotation, number xxxx.
I further state that I am of lawful age and legally competent to sign this affirmation and release, or that I acquired the written consent of my parents or guardians.
Furthermore that I am medically fit to participate in all the set out flights, activities and accommodation on my quotation, number xxxx.
And if I have a medical concern that I accept the consequences thereof. I also understand the terms herein are contractual and not mere recital and that I have signed this document of my own free act.
I also understand that Shark Alley will not be held responsible/liable in any manner what so ever regarding any visas. Visas are for the clients own account and discretion. The same applies to any and all health requirements. |
