Whale Sharks & White Sharks Combo 13 Days

Day 1: Flight & Transfer to Gansbaai

Today you will fly from Johannesburg (OR Tambo) to Cape Town. We recommend an AM flight as early as possible or straight off your international flight arrival to enjoy maximum benefits of this day.
At Cape Town Airport you will collect your rental car and drive yourself to Gansbaai. It is a leisurely and very scenic 2 hour drive along the beautiful coast line of one of the most beautiful areas in the Western Cape.
Check in at The Roundhouse Guesthouse (or similar) after your arrival in Gansbaai. Rest of the day is spent at leisure.

Day 2 – 4: 1 Great White Shark trip per day

Depending on the launch time of the Great White Shark boat you will either depart to the crew house after breakfast at the guesthouse or you will enjoy breakfast at the crew house. This will be advised the day before each trip. The duration of this trip is approx 3 – 4 hours and everything is included dive kit, fresh towels, snacks and drinks and hot lunch.
After your shark trip you will have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy at your leisure. Gansbaai has much to offer our tourists. From 4x4 mountain trips, kayaking, cave tours, whale watching and tours to name a few will keep you busy after shark trips. Rest of the day spent at leisure.

Day 5: Flight to JHB & Overnight JHB

After breakfast you will say fare well to Gansbaai and make your way to the Cape Town airport where you will leave your rental car and fly to Johannesburg approx mid day. At Johannesburg Airport you will be transferred to your hotel for the night, Airport Grand Hotel (or similar).
Rest of the day spent at leisure.

Day 6: Flight to Inhambane & Transfer to Praia do Tofo

After breakfast you will be transferred to Lanseria Airport with a mid morning flight to Inhambane. You will be met at the Inhambane airport with a transfer to Praia do Tofo. Check in at the beach casitas. After check in, pop in at the dive centre to discuss your dive program for the next few days.
Rest of the day spent at your leisure

Day 7 - 12: 2 dives per day

Each morning meeting at the dive centre for your first dive of the day. Breakfast, briefing, kit up and off you go for a dive of fun and exploring Tofo’s beautiful reefs, Whale sharks, Manta rays to name a few! Back from your first dive you will have time to enjoy brunch or a quick snack should you be one of many divers preferring to eat after their dive. Get ready for your second dive of the day and make some bubbles!
Usually dive groups get together at 07:00AM and 14:00PM. Whale shark safaris available at 11:00AM. Times are estimates and will be confirmed each day for the next day’s dive program.
Note the 1st dive of the day could be a double tank dive resulting in 3 dives for the day (depending on dive centre). The second tank will be optional and payable directly at the dive centre.
Rest of the day spent at your leisure.

Day 13: Transfer & Flight to JHB

This morning you will enjoy the beaches and scenery of Praia do Tofo and say fare well. Midday you will be transferred to Inhambane airport for your flight to JHB. Off your flight arrival at Lanseria you will be transferred either to OR Tambo or hotel of your choice for your onward travel arrangements.
