The Lodge currently has 11 chalets. The chalets are constructed on iron wood stilts with “majeka” (local thatch) roofs and beautiful wooden mahogany floors. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms with showers; overhead fans; mosquito nets; room safes; a private balcony - most with sea-views; and are set amongst beautiful lush indigenous gardens. In total, the lodge can sleep 39 guests.

STANDARD CHALETS (8)
3 x one bedroom “A chalets”, 5 x two bedroom “B chalets” (shared bathroom)
The standard chalets have reed walls and include all the amenities listed above. These chalets have simple furnishings and décor but are extremely comfortable with a relaxed and rustic “feel” to them. |
 |
|
LUXURY CHALETS (2)
One bedroom “A chalets”
These chalets have recently been refurbished and upgraded. The bathrooms have brick walls and cement floors. The reed walls of the bedrooms have been replaced with “plaster on board” walls and the wooden floors re-laid. Finishes and furnishings are very tasteful creating a less rustic atmosphere and rather one of luxury and simple elegance. “Plantation style” doors and windows throughout the chalets add to the charm. The luxury chalets include tea & coffee making facilities and have breath-taking sea-views. |
 |
|
DELUXE CHALET (1)
2 double en-suite bedrooms
This suite will have 2 double en-suite bedrooms that sleep 4, sharing a central lounge area with a kitchenette and large furnished balcony. The bedrooms will be air-conditioned and the bathrooms include shower, double basins and bidet. Décor and finishes are upmarket and custom-made. The Deluxe Chalet stands about 3 metres off the ground and the sea-views are awesome! Please note this chalet is not suitable for families with very small children. |

|
The information below is provided to clarify the difference between the “A” and “B” type chalets.
One bedroom “A” chalets x 5 - 2 luxury and 3 standard. These chalets sleep a maximum of 2 guests. All “A” chalets have double beds and en-suite bathrooms.
Two bedroom “B” chalets x 5 – all standard. These chalets have 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) sharing one bathroom leading off a small central room. Three of the “B” chalets have an extra bed in the central room. These chalets are ideal for families. See chalet layout below - not drawn to scale. |
